  • Ryan Keen Extracting hydrogen from water is relatively simple, so to increase productivity, include a converter so the 'fuel' can be stored as water untill needed. Make this efficient via investment and it could be done in cars. But then, should we use water, our most valuable resource, for fuel?

  • Gary Carmichael There’s still a debate going on about which would be the most efficient mode of powering vehicles in the future. Initially I thought that hydrogen vehicles would be a good concept, and I still do, but I suppose it depends upon how things can be developed in 5, 10 or 20 years time. This video link is of some interest, it does highlight the loss of efficiency that hydrogen powered vehicles endure in comparison to battery powered vehicles. Both have their pros and cons and one of these concepts will probably go on to be the standard, unless another concept comes along where you can store, convert and reuse kinetic energy in one system.
