Masturbation Is Murder

If we use the logic of the Catholic Church and the anti-abortion/anti-choice adovactes well then this new finding proves not only is male masturbation a sin but now it is murder as well.

You are killing the unborn. So stop it guys.

Scientists are discovering that as well as carrying the DNA that spells out the male's contribution to a new life, sperm carries RNA and proteins which have a direct influence on fertilisation and embryo development.

Of course masturbation was never a sin for women since its biblical reference was to a 'guy' named Onan. Nor does it lead to ejaculation of seed, so important to patricarchical religions, so ladies you may continue guilt free.

  4. I do not know a single person in the faith community that believes masturbation is murder. It is a ridiculous left wing lie. Even those who oppose it do so on a different basis than the idea it's murder - it's the idea that it's a self-centered sexual act.

  5. Without sperm there is no life. Every sperm is sacred. And some faith groups believe god is sperm, thus not only is it murder it is deicide.

And recent scientific evidence, besides that quoted in this article shows that sperm and eggs can be reproduced through stem cells. I guess that gives you nutbars another reason to oppose stem cell research. Wait a minute if stem cells can produce sperm and eggs, then using embryonic stem cells is not murder but reincarnation.

  6. I am not aware of any faith group that believes god is sperm and would be interested in having that specific group pointed out please.

Not every person who is pro-life is against stem cell research by the way.

  7. Hailey then you are unaware of your own church history. Some gnostic sects had this belief. John Allegro in the Mushroom and Cross makes this point about Essene sects, which believed Jesus was actually soma, the mushroom which grew from the sperm of God. Amongst pre-hindu cultures in India a similar belief was held about Soma.
