Drudge Report Sums Up Donald Trump's Debate Performance With 2 Final Words

The conservative website also damningly described it as "The Night Trump Lost It All."

Those are the two words the conservative Drudge Report website posted as its main headline on Tuesday night following Donald Trump’s widely-panned performance in the presidential debate against Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.

The short headline sat underneath an AI-generated image of Trump surrounded by animals on what appeared to be an airplane.







It linked to Mediaite’s coverage of Trump being fact-checked during the debate for pushing a debunked story that migrants in Ohio are eating people’s pets.

The Matt Drudge-founded website, which has soured on Trump since backing him in the 2016 election, also linked to NBC News’ story on the theme and captioned it, “The Night Trump Lost It All.”

Another headline on the website called it Trump’s “worst performance of his career,” and pointed to this story on Deadline.

CNN’s Chris Wallace on Tuesday suggested that former president and current GOP nominee Donald Trump’s panned presidential debate performance against Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, echoed the collapse of Joe Biden in the Trump-Biden debate in June which ultimately led the president to nix his bid to win back the White House.

“I didn’t think I was ever going to witness a debate as devastating as the one that you and Dana moderated back in June, where Joe Biden basically tanked his reelection campaign,” Wallace told colleague Jake Tapper on Tuesday.

Tapper and Dana Bash hosted the Biden-Trump debate in June.

“I think tonight was just as devastating,” Wallace continued.

Harris “pitched a shutout on almost every subject I can think of,” he said, citing the vice president’s comments on abortion, the Jan. 6 insurrection by Trump supporters and democracy.
