haboob (Arabic: Ù‡َبوب‎, romanized: habÅ«b, lit. 'blasting/drifting') is a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current, also known as a weather front. Haboobs occur regularly in dry land area regions throughout the world.
