Back during the Conservative leadership race the current Minister of Health, Tony Clement was one of the contenders, and as the way-back machine at Stephen Taylor's blog reminds us he too is favour of capital punishment.
Tony Clement declared that he believes that capital punishment should be an option for extreme cases. "My personal view is that in the case of serial killers and murderers of police officers, for instance, that it would be appropriate in those circumstances". -- Tony ClementHe joins our current Minister of Justice in sharing this opinion.
This is the not so hidden agenda if the Harpocrites win a majority but they have to keep it quiet for now.
