UPDATE: Elon Musk Neuralink Telepathically Starts Tesla; “Future is Gonna be Weird” Indeed
On Friday, Aug. 28, SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk had revealed the demo video of its much-awaited yet controversial Neuralink brain chip. A lot of things were already known about this device– and they are all kind of creepy. But, here’s another catch: Neuralink brain chip allows you to move things with your brain– specifically a Tesla model vehicle.
On Friday, the whole world witnessed one of the much-awaited events in the tech world: the demo video of Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain chip. On the video, three pigs were featured on the screen.
Musk explained that those pigs have each installed brain chip inside their head. One of the pigs is called Gertrude.
“We have a healthy and happy pig, initially shy but obviously high energy and, you know, kind of loving life, and she’s had the implant for two months,” Musk said of Gertrude, the pig.
Musk said that the chip cures neurological conditions and problems. But of course, its not yet tested on human beings.
However, Tech Times already reported a series of information about Neuralink brain chip. For example, it can allow users to hear songs in your brain, take over brain’s moods, or even make you hear things impossible to hear, via implanting a mini chip inside your brain.
But, one thing that wasn’t mentioned on all the reports is that Neuralink brain chip can actually make people control things. More specifically, a Tesla model vehicle.
Screenrant reported that Elon Musk’s brain chip has the capability on doing telepathic power– like a real-life superhero. Neuralink CEO revealed that in the future, Tesla owners will be able to summon their cars using only their mind.
Unfortunately, this type of feature of Neuralink was not further explained by Musk. He, however, concluded that “the future is gonna be weird.” Making assumptions that the telepathic trick could actually happen soon.
Coincidentally, a day before Elon presents its additional Neuralink-Tesla feature, Tech Times reported that the car brand experienced a major cyber-attack that Musk described as a “serious attack.”
As explained on the report, a Russian hacker tried to bribe a Tesla employee with $1 million. The mission is for the employee to install a malware on the database of the company, in order for the hacker to collect info.
Impressively, the employee refused to accept the bribe.
The investigation on the crime is still ongoing, though the suspect was already under police custody.
