Now he gets his wish as the Conservatives deny Winnie Mandela a visa and as usual give no reason for their actions.
Consider it payback, for when they were in Opposition and could not confront Nelson like Anders wanted them to.
Ironically he just as big a criminal as she is.
Canada Denies Visa to Winnie Mandela
Ottawa's decision to deny her entry brings Winnie Mandela to tears
Despite four consecutive election victories in the seemingly unassailable Tory stronghold, Anders has been at the centre of unwelcome attention for the Conservative party and its predecessors.
In 2001, he was the only MP to vote against making Nelson Mandela an honorary citizen of Canada and he defended his actions by calling Mandela a communist and a terrorist.

To be precise, immigration rejected Winnie, not the conservatives. Whether the conservatives put political pessure on immigration to reject her is a matter of pure speculation.
To be fair to Immigration Canada, they are just going by the book. Mandela was convicted of fraud, theft, and kidnapping in South Africa. People convicted of serious crimes are not supposed to be allowed entry.
Conviction is dubious in light of her not spending any time in jail. As such one can say this was a political crime and subject to more restrictions. The Conservatives are good at blaming their political actions on the civil service. Like they did with the dead soldiers families. They won't take responsibility for their actions.
They are a paranoid state.
One is either convicted or not - there is nothing dubious about it. There's no such thing as a little bit pregnant.
I am, however, at a complete loss how one can be convicted of kidnapping, which lead to the death of the victim, and get a suspended sentence. Something's rotten there.
Socialists have a habit of defending people who should not be defended, based solely on where they are on the political spectrum. It's a bad habit.
