Donald Trump came under fire on Saturday for his behavior during a solemn moment in which six fallen soldiers killed in the president's onslaught against Iran were honored.
The president was seen during the event standing upright while others bowed their heads. He was also wearing a white baseball cap during the typically solemn event, which was broadcast in complete silence on CNN.
That Trump behavior didn't sit well with numerous analysts, including Assistant Watergate prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks, who wrote, "Head unbowed and baseball cap in white. Total disrespect."
PatriotTakes, which says it is dedicated to "researching and monitoring" right-wing extremism "and other threats to democracy," responded, "Trump wore a white hat during the dignified transfer ceremony in Dover today when 6 fallen U.S. soldiers were returned from Trump’s war in Iran."
Conservative commentator and military expert Tom Nichols also chimed in, "The president is wearing a white golf cap. At Dover."
The popular Russian Market account further added, "Trump looks absurd wearing that white baseball cap during the transfer of the fallen U.S. soldiers."

Donald Trump was hit hard on Saturday by a former GOP leader over the president's conduct during the "dignified transfer" of the six soldiers killed in the war in Iran.
Critics pounced after Trump stood with his "head unbowed" during the solemn ceremony to honor the deceased soldiers. Numerous observers pointed out the president's decision to wear a white golf hat during the long-running tradition that was broadcast in silence on CNN.
That point about the hat also wasn't missed by former RNC Chairman Michael Steele, who now hosts his own show on MS NOW.
Taking to X, Steele wrote, "This fool has ABSOLUTELY no sense of dignity or appreciation for the moment."
"It is called the Dignified Transfer for a reason," the ex-GOP insider added over the weekend. He then simply demanded, "Take your damn hat off!!"
A prominent Democratic governor also joined in.
Governor Newsom's Press Office said, "Take your hat off, you disgusting little man."
