Israeli regime failed to achieve any goals in war on Gaza

TEHRAN, Mar. 15 (MNA) – The Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that the Zionist Israeli regime has achieved none of its goals in its brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip and the signs of Israel’s historic defeat are emerging.

Amir-Abdollahian made the comments in a message to the leaders of the resistance groups on Thursday night.

The top Iranian diplomat congratulated the leaders of the resistance groups, as well as to the resilient and steadfast nations of Lebanon and Palestine, on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

In the congratulatory message for Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh, and Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the Iranian minister praised all resistance forces for standing against the “hateful and criminal Zionist regime”.

He also paid tribute to “the honorable families of the martyrs and wounded in the ongoing conflict, as well as to the resilient and steadfast nations of Lebanon and Palestine”.

“Muslims around the world have embraced this sacred month as the occupying regime in al-Quds continues to commit crimes against humanity and genocide against the oppressed Palestinian nation, particularly the vulnerable women and children of this revered land. This comes when the responsible international institutions, including the United Nations Security Council, have failed to take effective and deterrent action to halt the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli regime,” Amir-Abdollahian stated.

Denouncing the inaction from those who purport to champion human rights in the face of the Israeli crimes in Palestine, he lauded the “heroic, dignified, and historic resistance displayed by the resistance forces and the steadfast Palestinian nation in the face of the regime armed to the teeth and bolstered by unwavering support from the American government.”

“In light of these dignified and honorable efforts, the Zionist enemy has failed to achieve any of its stated objectives, and the aspects of this regime's historic failures have come to the surface,” he added, the Foreign Ministry’s website reported.

“With sincere and unwavering faith in the assured fulfilment of God's promise of victory, I solemnly commemorate the memory of all the martyrs of the resistance during these virtuous and luminous days and nights,” Amir-Abdollahian noted.

At least 31,341 Palestinians have been killed and 73,134 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
