Colombia releases Truth Commission report on decades of violence

In 2016, with the signing of Colombia’s peace agreement between leftist rebels and the government, the government set up a Truth Commission to bring to light what happened in more than a half-century of war.
The commission’s mission was to expose the painful reality of war, and what the victims endured.
