The Burmese python invasion is about to become entertainment.
Along with the venomous lionfish, the Burmese python is perhaps the least welcome invasive species in Florida: lacking any natural predators, it has chomped its way through the state's wildlife.
"Make no mistake, this is a beautiful animal," said Tom Rahill, who spends his nights stalking through the Everglades trying to kill the snakes. "It doesn't belong here, though."
