Cuban President Again Condemns Israeli Attacks against Palestine
Havana, Dec 28 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel reiterated on Thursday his condemnation against the attacks by Israeli military forces against the Palestinian people.
Every passing day without an end to the barbarity carried out by Israel against Palestine is becomes a shameful day for humanity a day of serious damage for International Law, the head of state wrote on X.
In a previous message also on X, Diaz-Canel described the genocide as a humiliation to all humanity and insisted that Cuba will keep raising its voice once and again for Palestine.
During the Second Sessin of the Cuban Parliament, held December 29, lawmakers condemned the murder of thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, with over 70 percent of those victims being children and women, as a result of the massive shelling by Israel since October.
The current situation is the result of 75 years of Israeli illegal occupation and colonization in flagrant violation of the Palestinians’ inalienable rights in their own territory, read a statement issued by the Cuban Parliament.
The statement reiterates the necessity for a far-reaching, fair and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the setting up of two sates, allowing the Palestinian people their right to free determination and have their independent and sovereign state according to the borders drawn up before 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital city.
