Super Tuesday: Protesters storm stage during live Joe Biden speech
The protesters, from the group Direct Action Everywhere, are opposed to the dairy industry, and have reportedly been seen across the state of California.

Mr Biden's speech was one of victory, and came just days after he won the South Carolina primary, thus reversing a narrative that his campaign had faltered and had all but died.

"Let Dairy Die," read the posters held up by the protesters, who were pulled off the stage.

The former vice president then continued on with his speech, in which he seemed quite pleased and took a swipe at Bernie Sanders, criticising the Vermont senator's call for a political revolution.

"It's a good night," Mr Biden said, before continuing: "and it seems to be getting even better."

He also reiterated that his campaign is still very much viable.

"We are very much alive," he said.
