Tickets for the Glastonbury Festival 2027 have sold out in less than 45 minutes.
After taking a break in 2026, the event will return next year on June 23-27 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.
The general sale tickets went on sale at 9 am (0800 GMT) on Sunday – but sold out by 9:45 am.
Posting on Instagram, the festival’s official page said: “Tickets for Glastonbury 2027 have now sold out.
“Thank you to everyone who bought one and we’re sorry to those of you who missed out on a morning where demand greatly exceeded supply.
“There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2027.”
On Thursday the first lot of tickets – coach tickets – went on sale at 6 pm, but they sold out in less than half an hour.
General admission tickets for next year’s festival cost £408 ($540) – an increase of £29.50 from 2025.
